- Pressure on science services to water down health recommendations,
- Pressure to contain and hide accurate reporting,
- Pressure to open schools and businesses before even watered-down recommendations were followed,
- And efforts to suppress testing
- were among the major factors facilitating the preventable deaths of many, many, many Americans.
- This would be terrible if Trump were just incompetent.
- But Trump knew. Pence knew. They were warned. Trump understood.
