A CELFIE

A CELfie is a selfie you take with yourself and a CELebrity -- Hey! Let's expand that definition to include selfies taken BY a CELebrity. So...
A CELfie is a selfie with a CELebrity in the picture. #CELfie
I just made that up, I think.
Google didn't find it. (yet.) (It did show CELfie as a selfie taken by a CELL phone, or in a jail CELL.)
The idea of this was suggested as I was writing about James Franco, who happily posed in selfies with his fans at the stage door after OF MICE AND MEN. But it occurred to me that a picture with two people is not really just a "selfie." Then I saw some "selfies" that celebrities (Franco & others) took of themselves. Selfies with a CELebrity are a "different species" of selfie than one you take of yourself... Unless you are a CELebrity! -- though sometimes aren't we all celebrities as soon we publish our pictures of ourselves? Isn't that part of the power of social media?!
