PRESIDENT KENNEDY vs JUSTICE ALITO ON CHURCH AND STATE
When John F. Kennedy ran for President,
no Catholic had ever been elected President; there was concern that a Catholic
President would impose the dictates of the Catholic Church on policies in the
United States.
He spoke at a meeting of Ministers in Houston on his views of the separation of church and state.
Justice Alito in his recent opinions and in a recorded conversation has expressed sympathy for erasing the separation of church and state, seems to be using church doctrine as a basis for his opinions, and in a recorded conversation, expresses support for “winning” (vs liberals) on behalf of “godliness”.
