On the show floor, a dedicated Oculus Launch Pad kiosk will spotlight 360° films and VR experiences from a diverse range of emerging content creators. Now in its second year (https://www.oculus.com/blog/oculus-launch-pad-2017-boot-camp-recap-felix-paul-funomena-unity-and-more), Launch Pad hopes to increase diversity of thought within the VR industry and inspire developers who represent our global audience to share their voices with the world. We can’t wait to see where the program goes next.
We’ll also host our first-ever Women in VR Film Festival, with topics ranging from social impact to cutting-edge interactivity. In addition to Oculus Launch Pad, we’ll showcase participants from VR for Good’s Creators Lab and the Diverse Filmmakers Fund. The film festival will be open to all OC4 attendees in our Diversity Lounge, while creators will provide a series of lightning talks throughout the show.
