ROB REINER & THE PROP 8 CHALLENGE
In a fascinating bit from Peter Bart's interview with actor/director/writer Rob Reiner on the (8/20/2010) episode of In The House (possibly the only remaining film show on TV, by the way), the politically active Reiner described how he helped get the superstar legal team of Theodore Olsen and David Boies (opposing attorneys in Bush v Gore in 2000) to challenge Proposition 8 (the California law that prohibited gay marriage) by accident while having lunch.
