THE SARAH CONNER CHRONICLES
The Sarah Connor Chronicles is an exciting, but not very interesting TV show (Mondays on Fox). A spinoff of the Terminator Movies, it centers on the protection of John Connor (Thomas Dekker), the young man who needs to survive into the future to prevent the end of humanity, against the threat of robots (actually androids -- automata in human form) who are sent from the future to destroy him before the future arrives.
John is protected by his mother, Sarah Connor (Lena Headey), and Cameron (Summer Glau), a friend from the future.
All the characters are well played and attractive.
The action is fierce and unrelenting as the war between the Connors and the Terminators rages (secretly) in the present, with lots of mysterious, collateral dead bodies to perplex the authorities.
Unfortunately, there's not enough humor, and no interesting story at all amongst the characters. It's just fight and run (and do homework at night).
